Stepping into The Monte Vista Hotel felt like entering a bygone era of grandeur. The vintage decor exuded luxury, with rich wood and soft leather creating a warm and inviting ambiance. Our room, spacious and comfortable, featured hand-hewn doors that added an extra touch of historic charm.The staff, friendly and attentive, provided a warm Southern welcome that made us feel right at home. We enjoyed a welcome drink at the bar, where we soaked in the rich history of the place. The fireplaces and railings leading to epic libraries whispered tales of a storied past, adding to the enchanting atmosphere.Exploring the grounds, we discovered the unique blend of vintage soul and modern amenities that makes this boutique hotel a true gem. Milton's Cuisine, housed within the hotel, offered a menu of delectable comfort food that pleased our palates. The convenient location near Black Mountain allowed us to indulge in scenic walks around a picturesque lake, immersing ourselves in the town's charm. It was the perfect setting for a romantic escape, where every detail spoke of a rich heritage waiting to be discovered.
